Catholic faith support at LSBU
mass
Mass is celebrated at 12.30pm Monday to Saturday at St George’s Cathedral. On a Monday, Sr Anouska will meet any staff and students wanting to go to Mass at 12.30pm, at 12.10pm outside the main entrance of the LSBU Hub. She will then walk to the Cathedral with anyone who joins. For those who have time there will be the opportunity to eat lunch together afterwards. To register your interest in this, email Sr Anouska.
Catechesis (learning more about the Catholic Faith)
Each year we offer the possibility for staff and students who are interested to prepare for the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Communion. If you are interested in this opportunity, do please get in touch.
First Sundays
On the first Sunday of every month, in collaboration with LSBU Halls, there will be a visit to somewhere in London, followed by refreshments. For those who wish Sr Anouska will then attend the 6pm Mass at St George’s Cathedral with anyone who wishes to join her. If you are living in LSBU Accommodation, get in touch.
one to one appointments
In the academic year 2023/24, Sr Anouska will be available to meet on campus or on Teams on a Monday, Tuesday and some Wednesdays during term time. To arrange a one to one meeting with her, please email. Whilst working part time, she will get back to you as soon as she is able.
SPIRITUAL DIRECTION
Having someone to talk to about your prayer and your faith life can be a really helpful experience. Sr Anouska is a trained Spiritual Director and is able to meet with staff and students who would like to find out more about this, and explore whether it would be something they would be interested in for themselves. To express your interest in spiritual direction with Sr Anouska please email her.
